If we were to chart and effective course for the typical Mooney buyer on his quest for THE perfect Mooney, perhaps it would be:

1. JOIN MOA:
   Consider Joining MOA:and scour back issues of our magazine THE MOONEY PILOT* for reference. Back issues are available from MOA Headquarters on an as they last basis at the current published price of $5.75 each + S&H. An alternative would be to down-load the "open" issues on-line. MOA members you can down-load every back issue free but many buyers like to have the originals to read and keep for reference, tour choice. As a MOA Member, you may wish to become familiar with our Price Guide Section which is a unique member's benefit capable of giving you a good idea about the typical costs of maintaining a Mooney. It is a popular members benefit in the Members Only Section.

2. EDUCATE YOURSELF ON MOONEYS:
   Check MOA's Current Mooney Market Report for the current market conditions. For new Mooneys, obtain brochures, literature, and pilot reports from the nearest new Mooney dealer, or you can contact Mooney direct. Several new Mooney dealers provide web sites and printed material on the current production Mooney product line. One well known dealer/broker who deals exclusively in Mooneys has perhaps the largest Mooney site on the web, has written a book on Mooneys, and sells a well received Mooney Buyers Kit which we highly recommend.

3. LET MOA SUGGEST A NEW OR USED MOONEY DEALER/BROKER:

In some instances in territories where Mooney does not have dealers, they may talk to you directly.
