MOA's M20 Chat/Forum Introduction
MOA Members and Mooney owners at large are
encouraged to register (one time) and contribute to our various M20 Chat/Forum Rooms and submit items for
this Newsroom Section below.
MOA's
M20 Owners Discussion Group or Forum/Chat is a place for all
Mooney owners and enthusiasts to share their Mooney ownership, operation, and flying
experiences, express their ideas, concerns, and opinions even if they aren't especially
flattering. We do however ask you use good taste, act responsibly, and be somewhat
accountable for the accuracy of your posts. Therefore, like most similar forums, we
require you to register or sign-in the first time and provide accurate contact
information. Failure of you to provide accurate sign-in information may cause you to
be restricted from making further posts etc.
Please
understand that our forum is a typical web based "string" or threaded
post type discussion conferencing forum, arranged by topics and previous threaded posts on
these specific pre-arranged Mooney related topics. The advantages of this type of
forum is that users aren't distracted by lots of "off subject" or bothersome
posts. Users can easily and effectively limit their review to just those topics of
interest.
In addition,
while anyone can view posts w/out signing-in, we require users who wish to post items to
sign-in or register ONE TIME (initially) after which, you will immediately receive a
unique password via return Email. Please record this password but should you forget
it, we also provide a method for the site to recognize your user name and Email.
Thus, like most other aircraft owner group forums, we maintain a certain level of
accountability for the overall good of our users at large.
| Threaded or "String"
Type Web Forums: While very popular on the web at large (over 2,500 in use), this type of threaded forum or discussion group is different from "mass email" chats and thus may require a little transition time if you are coming from those types of chat rooms such as several run by various private owners apparently as a hobby. In addition, when a post is made here on MOA's chat on your particular posting "string", at your option, you can be automatically sent an Email notice so you can review what others have to say about a topic you previously suggested. Note: No one person audits or controls what is posted here. However, MOA will not condone this forum to be used erroneously or as an outright promotion venue for commercial endeavors. Due to the fact as of 2/13/01 this is a new forum and to get it going, we have asked several of our members and board members to make numerous initial posts and even to reprint select posts they may have furnished to other Mooney related chat rooms. |
Please feel free to Email or moderator with your comments, suggestions, notices you wish to post, or problems. Also, the Help and Search Sections of the Forum itself are most useful. We strongly recommend new visitors visit them.

Newsroom Introduction: We generally do not edit the M20 Newsroom submissions but ask that they are of newsroom style and of interest to Mooney owners in the forum topic chosen. Topics can range from fly-in dates, late breaking AD's and how your experiences have been in dealing with Mooney Aircraft Co. or any other major vendors etc. and/or any other interesting news etc. which may affect members and Mooney owners at large. Rest assured, no one person audits or controls what is posted here nor will MOA condone this forum to be used to promote commercial endeavors.
